The Qnuru off-grid fixtures, named the “Santa Fe” in honor of the municipality that inspired their design, illuminate Frenchy’s Field Park, a 17-acre “idiot park” that occupies an important link in the city’s clear-space network of trails and parks. Recently I saw an article about ways to help people who have become homeless due to the economy, natural disasters, and war vets that were not able to return into the working force after leaving the military. There were lots of plans and ideas about how to go about it but none of them seem to have a more permanent solution to helping the individuals.

The problem with solar power is the price and limited lifespan. On top of that, solar panels need to be replace every ten years or so, and guess where it would end up, the landfill.
The best a person can do is be conservative with their power usage.
