What kind of lightbulb will power a photovoltaic cell?
I know this is against logic to power a PV cell with a lightbulb but I need to show a test system and it will be indoors and I wasn't sure if you need UV or just normal lightbulbs or what?
Solar cells work best off of IR light and visible light. So, an incandescent bulb will work just fine.

Photovoltaic cells are designed to run with sunlight. Personally, I'd build the circuit you're testing, try it under various lights in your house like strip lights and bulbs, if these don't work then perhaps I'd invest in a daylight simulation or UV bulb.
